Prime Minister Freundel Stuart has just announced that Senator Kerry Ann Ifill will be the new President of the Senate.
Ifill replaces Sir Branford Taitt who resigned last week due to illness.
Verla Depeiza will also be appointed a new government Senator. Both appointments take effect next week.
