Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been forced to publicly deny rumours they have broken up.
Smith and Jada are thought to have one of the strongest marriages in Hollywood
It comes after US media outlets reported that the couple’s 13-year marriage had ended.
The pair issued a statement saying: “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false.
“We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”
Regarded as having one of the most solid relationships in Hollywood, rumours of the split quickly spread across the internet.
At one point ‘Will and Jada’ was one of the highest-trending topics on Twitter as fans reacted with shock at the news.
Pinkett Smith’s spokeswoman also issued a further denial that the actress had an affair with her Hawthorne television show co-star Marc Anthony, who recently separated from his wife, Jennifer Lopez.
“All the rumours regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue,” she said
