Art lovers and others engaged in the protection of Barbados’ reefs were at the Gallery of Caribbean Art in Speightstown for the opening of the latest exhibition there entitled Celebrate Our Waters.

The exhibition is in recognition of International Year Of The Reef, and water sports operator, diver and passionate reef preservationist Andre Miller spoke enthusiastically about the work being done.

The art on show highlights Barbados’ spectacular marine scenes, and Miller said: “I see this as a tribute and also as a warning to us on the island . . . .” (GC)
