‘Normal rainfall’ for this time

The intense and steady rainfall Barbados experienced throughout Monday night and into yesterday morning is normal for the hurricane season, says acting senior meteorologist at the Barbados Meteorological Services, Clairmonte Williams.
The Meteorological Office measured two inches of rainfall across the island in the last 48 hours.
Williams told the MIDWEEK NATION that Barbados and other islands experienced unsettled conditions from last weekend when a tropical wave passed through the region.
He said the conditions would “more than likely remain [the same] into this week”. (AH)
