No trouble with fake money

BARBADOS IS NOT in trouble when it comes to counterfeit money.
And neither are the other islands in the region.
That is the expert assessment of Matt West, regional manager Caribbean for the world’s largest integrated commercial banknote printer DeLaRue, which turns out the local notes.
West said the company had not had to alter the security features on any of the six denominations over the years.
“There are low levels of counterfeits in the country, so we haven’t had to change them [security features],” West said.
His finding is supported by the Central Bank of Barbados.
