Looking youthful after close to 30 years behind bars, Trotman left the St Philip penal institution around 11 a.m., accompanied by his attorney Arthur Holder.
Trotman was sentenced to hang on February 5, 1986, for the murder of Michael Cox of Rendezvous, Christ Church, sometime between July 1 and 9, 1985. On December 17, 1989, the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. (MB)
