RAUL?GARCIA?will be resuming his hunger strike in a few days if he is not released from Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds and this time he will be taking it through until the end.
Yesterday morning the DAILY?NATION spoke to his attorney David Comissiong, as he emerged from visiting him at the prison to update him, following Prime Minister Freundel Stuart’s statement on Monday that he was still reviewing all the options pertaining to his release.
Comissiong said the 57-year-old Cuban was “very disappointed”?that he was still in prison and was prepared to restart the hunger strike.
“He is very disappointed that he is still in prison after all of these months of negotiations and discussions and he is resolved to restart the hungry strike; but I have prevailed upon him to give us a few more days to work on getting a solution,” he stated.
