Promises made, promises kept. Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley on Saturday reminded the nation that her Barbados Labour Party (BLP) administration would work for all as they continue to stabilise and transform the economy.
Before a packed audience at the new auditorium of The Lodge School, St John during the 80th annual conference, a beaming Mottley itemised the mission critical issues which, before the May 24 General Election, she said a new Government would prioritise and had succeeded in doing.
“We come to St John and our message is that our party is a 166-square mile party. This is our moment in time to stay focused,” the island’s first female Prime Minister said.
Presenting a five-month report card, Mottley said the BLP’s Covenant of Hope continued to inspire her and Cabinet members in their day-to-day duties. (BA)
