Teachers Professional Day will be observed tomorrow, Friday, October 19, and all schools will be closed.

However, the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has encouraged the management of schools to organise activities for the development of their institutions.

At the Ministry’s headquarters at the Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St Michael there will be a social event, where all staff are invited to participate.

The day is part of the activities to mark Education Month, which is being celebrated under the theme Building Excellence in Education through STEAM.

Schools will re-open on Monday, October 22. (BGIS)
