Ingraham visiting China

NASSAU, Bahamas – Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham is leading a delegation to China for an official visit, according to a government statement issued here.
It said that the delegation which also includes National Security Minister  O.A.T., Tommy Turnquest, the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Dion A. Foulkes and officials from the Office of the Prime Minister, will return here on November 6.
Ingraham is expected to visit Hong Kong where he will officially open the Bahamas Maritime Authority Office and meet with potential investors.
“Mr. Ingraham and his delegation will then travel to Beijing to meet with senior Chinese officials to discuss a wide range of bilateral matters.  He will meet with executives of the China Export Import Bank and the China State Construction Company on matters related to the Baha Mar Resort project.  The Prime Minister will travel to Shanghai where he will attend the closing ceremonies for the 2010 World’s Fair, the Shanghai Expo,” the statement said.
