World junior silver medalist Tia-Adana Belle has been recognized for her efforts by the Seventh Day Adventist Youth Department of the East Caribbean Conference.
Belle was presented with a special plaque last Sunday during the Adventists’ annual islandwide sports meet at the National Stadium.
On hand to make the presentation was youth director Pastor Dale Haynes, assisted by youth preacher Chiwale Wilkinson.
“This is all part of appreciation by the Seventh Day Adventist Youth Department and all the Adventist youth in Barbados and Dominica to say ‘well done’ and we salute the success and achievement of Tia-Adana, who represented Barbados well.
“We invited her here today to witness our sports day and also present her with this plaque.” (RL)
