Man charged with assisting an offender

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged 33-year-old Terrell Tarior Mayers of Clevers Hill, St Joseph for assisting an offender in the investigation surrounding the murder of Charley Dume.
Dume was shot and killed on April 25 while working at a bar at the corner of Nelson Street and Wellington Street, St Michael. He later died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Five men have been charged with his murder.
Mayers is currently on bail for the murder of Rico Depeiza who was stabbed to death on May 21, 2011 in Speightstown, St Peter.
 He is expected to appear in Magistrates Court tomorrow. (PR)
