A?veteran nurse, described as a major asset at the Accident & Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), has retired.
Sister Dacia Aimey’s last day was on December 31 after 20 years service.
Aimey was lauded by A&E senior consultant Dr Haresh Thani for her professionalism during a retirement function in her honour at Divi Southwinds last Saturday night, attended by many of her co-workers and family.
“Nurse Aimey is very meticulous in what she does, and you could always go to her for advice as far as nursing is concerned,” said Thani.
Aimey was presented with several gifts and was serenaded with two songs by Judy Vaughn – Let There Be Love and Misty. (SP)
