Too many at NCC ‘breezing’

Too many employees in the National Conservation Commission (NCC) seem unable to give a proper day’s work.
Minister of the Environment Denis Lowe made this charge yesterday while addressing an NCC staff retreat at Savannah Hotel, Hastings, Christ Church.
“There are a lot of people in the NCC that can’t do any work. They’ve been rendered almost incapable of delivering work, and the list is long,” the minister told supervisors.
“You can’t have people who are earning the same salaries as you [who are] just breezing. They have to pull their weight!”  Lowe then advised the supervisors of their role. (CA)
