Silk cotton threat

The residents of Second Avenue, Greens, St George, want to know what can be done about the silk cotton tree in their district, which has been the source of problems for them in the past few years.
The residents complain that the silk cotton fibres blanket the district and adversely affect residents who are asthmatic or suffer from allergies or sinus conditions.
Elias Harry is seen here raking up the pods from his premises, a task he says he is now forced to do every day.
