FORMER?PRIME MINISTER Owen Arthur has promised the people of Barbados strong leadership again if the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) is elected February 21.
“Leadership matters,” he told the huge crowd at the BLP’s Haggatt Hall, St Michael meeting last night.
The final speaker of the night, Arthur walked on stage to loud cheers from the expectant crowd, while being surrounded by members of his party and serenaded by Mighty Gabby, who sang: “Wear your red. . . . Vote in the Bees.”
Earlier the massive crowd was entertained by an impressive line-up of performers, including Cover Drive, Allison Hinds and Peter Ram.
