It was as close as they come, a riveting neck and neck battle that was fitting of a climax to a derby.And, in the end, Leave It To Me edged out another pre-race favourite Amanyara to win the United Insurance Barbados Derby at the Garrison Savannah yesterday.Leave It To Me, with Panama-born Trinidad-based jockey Nobel Abrego in the saddle, came from behind and just top up to catch stablemate Amanyara on the line.It was a fascinating finish to the ten-furlong event for West Indian-bred three-year-olds.
