PAST and present government administrations, have neglected the upkeep of some buildings and trees that are important landmarks in Barbados.
The Sir Frank Worrell’s house, and very recently the tree in the parliament yard and another tree at Jubilee Bus Terminal, which were both cut down.
With proper maintenance: watching and treating for wood-ants, damage, etc., these trees could probably still be there, providing shade and adding to the serenity of the area.
I wonder which one will be next!
