Give Chris a break

TODAY, the West Indies cricket team start the Test series against South Africa, and, no doubt, after “match comments” by the captains, Chris Gayle will come with his “antics”.

Once again the West Indies team will be in a position where its supporters would prefer it not to be, and we will hear Gayle with his procession of blaming.

Given the team’s track record, I think he should try to avoid putting his foot in his mouth as he talks to the media.

I still wish him all the best for the sake of West Indies cricket.
