The Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance (MTW) has commenced work on the new footpath at Rendezvous Hill, Christ Church.

The stretch from Fordes Road to Amity Lodge recently reopened. It was closed for just under a week for corrective work to be done on the limestone bluff from which rocks were falling.

During that time, workers at MTW removed trees, cleared the area and widened the path.

When the road reopened Minister Dr William Duguid promised a footpath would be built.

All road users are asked to proceed with extreme caution while traversing the hill and to be aware of the workmen and equipment on site.  (PR/SAT)
