Passing grade for new market

Share post:

The new outdoor market on an open field adjacent to the Mighty Grynner Highway got a passing grade by vendors and shoppers.

Vendors said the new environment was more welcoming and spacious and encouraged people to buy more.

Shoppers agreed it was aesthetically pleasing, had a more relaxing feel and they enjoyed the breeze.

The market, which officially opened yesterday, offers a range of fruits and vegetables.

It replaced the BARVEN temporary outdoor market at Cheapside, The City, and there is ample parking for drivers. (SB)
