Residents are very concerned about the state of a part of the wall bordering The St Michael School.
This section of the wall is located along the side of the school next to a one-way road leading to Grassfield, St Michael.
It is close to houses and residents said the soft stone wall has been steadily deteriorating for many years.
“A young lady next door once wrote to the ministry and even went to the school, but nothing happened. My concern is that there are children who walk here and if they or if anyone is walking or driving past, they could get hit by a falling piece of that wall. Last week when the rain fell, a piece came down so I can see someone getting hurt. That wall is made of coral and has no steel in it, it is a hazard and it needs to be repaired,” said Verna Albert.
