UPDATE: Woman killed at Green Point

Police have launched an investigation into the killing of a woman at Green Point Development, St Philip.

Public relations officer, acting inspector Rodney Inniss, told the media lawmen at District C Police Station received a report around 7:45 a.m. on Friday that two people were believed to be dead at a home in the district.

rodney-innissA patrol responded immediately and on arrival, discovered a man and a woman. An ambulance was summoned.

The man was still alive and subsequently taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention.

However, the woman, said to be in her 40s, showed no signs of life. She remains at the scene as police continue investigations.

This is Barbados’ 30th murder for 2020.
