66th COVID-19 death

Another Barbadian woman has succumbed to novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the recorded deaths to 66.

The 66-year-old, who was in primary isolation at Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility for three days, died this morning. She had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.

Also today, an 84-year-old Barbadian female, who was in tertiary isolation for five days at Blackman and Gollop School, passed away in the early hours of this morning. She had comorbidities and was unvaccinated. She was the 65th person to succumb to COVID-19.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Jeffrey Bostic, extends condolences to the families and friends of the deceased women. (BGIS)
