Man in ‘stable condition’ after attack

A man is in stable condition after being stabbed on Monday.

Police confirmed that he was stabbed around 7:45 p.m. while walking along Gills Road, St Michael between the Wibisco company and the Supreme Court Complex.

“He was attacked by another man who is known to him. He received a stab wound to the upper right side of his back,” police said.

The man was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by police officers as there were no ambulances available at the time.

Investigations are ongoing. (PR/KG)
