Trio remanded on drug, ammunition charges

Earlier today Stacey Terrence Richards, 41, of #249 Kingsland Gardens North, Christ Church; Grantley Dolar Babb, 61, of #62 Lower Burney, St Michael and Lordon Emmanuel Marlon Charles, 29, of Powder Road, Station Hill, St Michael appeared in District ‘A’ Magistrates Court before Magistrate Garveney Bannister.

They were charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking of cannabis, intent to supply cannabis, importation of cannabis, possession of cocaine, trafficking of cocaine, intent to supply cocaine, and importation of cocaine.

All three faced five joint charges of possession of a firearm without a valid licence, and importation of a firearm without a licence.

They also faced one joint charge of possession of ammunition without a valid permit, and importation of ammunition without a valid licence.

They were not required to plea to the indictable charges and were all remanded to Prison to return to court on April 20. (PR)
