New Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Barbados, Gustavo Pandiani, along with his wife Sandra and their children, was warmly welcomed to Barbados during a reception at the official residence last week.
It was a spirited affair and the new envoy expressed excitement about being here and about his mission.
Guests included some members of the diplomatic corps, people from the business sector and Barbados Government and foreign service representatives.
It was as an evening when Argentina’s Trapiche wines flowed. Argentina ranks fifth in global wine production and Ambassador Pandiani demonstrated why, using the occasion to launch the Trapiche brand in Barbados. (GC)
