UPDATED: One dead in three-vehicle crash

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a road fatality which occurred after 1 p.m. today along Salters, St Michael.

The collision which involved a minibus and two cars resulted in the death of a 70- year-old Christ Church male.

Five passengers onboard the minibus were hurt and they complained of back, leg, and chest injuries.

Three of them were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

One fire tender and seven fire officers under the command of acting deputy chief fire officer Errol Gaskin responded to the scene. (PR/NB)
