Teenaged shooting victim named

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of Ajay Ricardo Smith, 19, of Sayes Court, Christ Church.

He was found dead sometime after 6 this morning on the hard court opposite St. Christopher Primary School.

Police say they received a report about the body of a man lying in a  pool of blood around 6:18 a.m.

On responding to the area, police discovered the lifeless body of Smith with a number of gunshot injuries.
