Penalties for no-balls?

PENALTIES COULD SOON be imposed on West Indies bowlers if they continue to overstep the front crease.

Assistant coach Roddy Estwick could not hide his disappointment after a day in which the regional side had two wickets negated by no-ball calls against Pakistan, on the second day of the Brighto Paints Presents The Q Mobile Cup Test at Kensington Oval yesterday.    

In an effort to correct the problem, Estwick said a message needed to be sent.

“We’ve got to make sure there is some kind of action, starting from the nets. People have got to be penalised for it. You cannot continue at international level to be bowling no-balls. It’s ill-disciplined,” he said.
