“Those who have had a dream which they believe to be from God, called ‘spiritual dreams’, know how frustrating they can sometimes be. These dreams are often full of intimidating and bizarre symbolism which leave us scratching our heads.” – www1.cbn.com
I ALWAYS WONDERED WHY I have romantic, adventurous dreams. Do you recognise that your dreams are very powerful? Do you understand the importance of connecting with your dreams?
I often felt that dreams were nonsense until my dearly departed friend Lauriston “Ras Mike” Dowridge, who resided in Bibby’s Lane, spoke to me through a dream. In it, he was sitting with elders around a bonfire with a boiling pot. He was consulting with those elders and he later said: “Get an avocado pear and squeeze orange juice on it and consume it.”
The instruction sounded bizarre at that time, but it miraculously healed me. Since then I have never wasted a dream because I recognised they are guides to health and wealth. Moreover, dreams are often in symbols or images. For example, if I dream about a roti, the roti means Trinidad.
I implore you to get a professional diary and record your dreams. As you continuously record them, you will pick up a pattern which will assist you in interpreting your dreams. Remember, dreams are spirit-oriented and pure. Do you believe that your dreams are worth more than a zillion dollars?
Silent doctor Joe Pye Weed, scientifically known as Eupatorium ligustifolia, forms a part of one of my dreams. This international healer saluted me early Saturday morning around 4:30. Its pink flowers were captivating and I could not resist writing about it.
I call Joe Pye Weed the traditional shamanic healer. The website thegrowers-exchange.com states: “Joe Pye can be used to break fevers, cure gastrointestinal issues and relieve fluid retention. It can also treat constipation, heal wounds and prevent infections.”
Further, medicinalherbinfo.org has revealed that Joe Pye Weed can treat headache, hysteria, impotence, indigestion, intermittent fever, sciatica, sore throat, urine retention, vomiting, asthma, chronic coughs, colds and typhus fever. Mounting research is pointing to sexual enhancement properties. I guess that means more bliss in the bedroom.
Finally, prayer is talking to God, and meditation and dreams are forms of listening to God. Additionally, biblical Joseph is a fantastic character to study if you want to further unravel the purpose of dreams and Joe Pye Weed.
