SARA JONES and Sir Glacken continue to set their sights high after qualifying for the upcoming International Equestrian Federation (FEI) World Jumping Challenge (WJC).
The pair revved their horse-powered engines at the warm-up competition recently held at Whitehall Equestrian Centre, St Peter, to jump clear in their first 1.30-metre class, to confirm their eligibility in category A.
Also jumping clear was 2016 national champion Paige Tryhane aboard Daisy, the Irish sport horse. The dynamic pair, who are hoping to anchor Barbados’ team, have now successfully moved up to category B (1.10 m – 1.20 m) for 2017.
Tryhane put down a stellar performance with her second mount Feip in category C (1- 1.10m). (RA)
