BULLYING HAS REARED its ugly head again in some secondary schools.
WEEKEND NATION investigations revealed that within the past two weeks, at least two parents had requested transfers for their children who were bullied and beaten by their peers.
One situation became so bad the parent removed her daughter from a St Michael school and sought private tutoring. According to a person close to the family, the decision was taken after the teenaged girl was continually being bullied by a group of girls from the same school.
In one instance, the girl had to seek private medical attention after an attack by the gang resulted in several injuries to her face and eyes. (RB)
