POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a serious accident which occurred sometime around 12:10 this morning along Enterprise Road, Christ Church.
Valentine Thorpe, 54, of Kingsland Terrace, and his passenger Terry Cox, 24, of Lodge Road, both in Christ Church, received multiple injuries about their bodies.
Police say preliminary investigations suggest that Thorpe lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree.
He and his passenger were freed by members of the Barbados Fire Service using the Jaws of Life. They were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where they are both receiving medical attention.
They are said to be in stable condition. (PR/NB)
