WITH EACH PASSING DAY, more residents are reporting problems with the facility created to manage sewage on the South Coast.
This time, people in St Matthias are calling for Government to fix the malfunctioning wells they say are causing effluent to spill in the housing area.
An upset Vonetta Williams told the DAILY NATION the community had been experiencing problems with liquid waste for almost a year. She said the old sewage well was cracked and leaking.
Last year, workers were sent to build a new covering for the well, she explained, but that seemed to have made the problem worse.
