Sunday shock

A WET AND MISERABLE Saturday gave way to a violent Sunday when two men were brutally killed, two others shot, and police and a group traded gunfire.

Gunmen, their faces hidden except for the eyes, burst into a fete in Black Rock, St Michael and, confining their terrified victims in the small area of Plum Tree Road, opened fire on them.

By the time they ended their attack, Jesse David Moore, 33, was hit twice. He took a bullet to the chest and one to the thigh and never recovered, even though he was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by someone near the scene.

At the same fete, Torian Devere Gibson, 31, of Strakers Road, Black Rock, was injured in the right thigh, and Shaquille Hinkson, 20, of Fairfield, Black Rock, was struck in the stomach. They survived. (AC)
