THREE PLAYERS, including reigning champion Yu Tien Poon, have registered 100 per cent winning records in the first three rounds of matches in the Barbados Chess Federation’s 2016 national championship.
Poon, the 2014 and 2015 champion, is sharing the lead with four-time champion Martyn del Castilho and Jerome Harewood in the 11-round championship that has been affected by the withdrawal of seven qualifiers, including former champions Orlando Husbands, Terry Farley and Delisle Warner.
