BARBADOS’ ECONOMY could be put back on track if Government agencies and operatives stopped placing stumbling blocks in the way of development projects.
That’s the view of construction magnate Sir Charles Williams, who praised Minister of Industry Donville Inniss as “the only one who seems to appreciate” what the country could achieve with better investment facilitation.
Sir Charles was speaking to the DAILY NATION following the opening of Welches One, the new four-storey home of international accounting firm EY (Ernst & Young), at which Inniss spoke out against excessive bureaucracy.
Sir Charles, the founder and chairman of the C.O. Williams Group, explained that he missed the ceremony as a result of illness but he could not let the opportunity to support the minister pass without saying something. (RRM)
