THE MINISTRY of Transport and Works’ comprehensive $2 million mill and pave project will start in earnest today.

Minister Michael Lashley said the project would go a long way in getting rid of the numerous potholes and bad roads which have plagued motorists for the past few years.

It starts in St Michael and moves to St Philip on October 3, with road repairs scheduled for Ocean City Road, along with work at Prince William Henry Street and Whitepark Road in The City.

Other areas where repairs will be done include a stretch from Lodge Hill to Well Gap in St Michael, Thorpes Main Road in St James, Bayfield and Sealy Hall in St Philip, Gall Hill No. 2 and No. 3 in St John, Lowlands in St Lucy, and a stretch from Brighton in St George to Lower Greys. (BA)
