Cops told: Don’t be scared of bigwigs

Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite wants his lawmen not to be afraid to arrest and prosecute any public figure, who condones the actions of criminals in society, and interferes with the process of justice.

He said he hoped to see them before the law courts before his term as the island’s legal policymaker ends.

“It is my hope before I leave the office of Attorney General that I see one or two of them before the courts of Barbados because we need to send the right signal.” (HLE)
