THEY HAVE COME from different parts of the world, but it is One Nation, One Family.
Barbadians from across the diaspora are gathered for three days of discussion and networking at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre for the for the Barbados Network Consultation 4th Biennial Diaspora Conference, which got underway this morning.
During his address Prime Minister Freundel Stuart reminded those who live overseas that they are all de facto ambassadors of Barbados. He encouraged them to present and represent Barbados well in their adopted countries and maintain a good profile and energetic involvement in the communities they call home.
He also urged them to use their connections with private or public sector officials in their adopted countries to better themselves and contribute to the economic and social life of Barbados. (YB)
