WHEN WILL THE illegal dumping stop?

That’s the question coming from Bucks, St Thomas resident Robert “Bobby” Clarke, who yesterday witnessed an act of illegal dumping in an area that had been cleaned the day before by Government workers.

Clarke, an attorney and political activist, said that around 9:45 a.m., he witnessed two men in a white Toyota van unloading hundreds of bagged glass bottles from their vehicle and proceeding to dump them at the side of the road.

He noted the licence plate number and informed the police, but was told that the plate numbers were not registered and the matter would be further investigated. (AD)
