TWO-TIME GROUP 2 champion Mark Thompson will be hoping to repeat his first visit to Wallerfield in 2014, when he faces the might of the region in round two of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) at the Frankie Boodram Wallerfield International Raceway in Trinidad and Tobago this weekend.
Thompson, who will be at the wheel of his Stag Beer/Automotive Art/Glassesco/Honda Civic, is part of a four-man team from Bushy Park Motor Sports Inc (BPMSI) at the event in the Land of the Hummingbird and would no doubt want to repeat his form of 2014 when he won all three Group 2 races on the way to his second title, having won previously in 2012.
The other Barbadian competitors are Mark Maloney, who will see action in Group 4 in his Digicel/Maloney Racing Team Mazda RX-3; Steve King Group 3 in the Automotive Art/Valvoline/Percy King Auto Parts Toyota Starlet; and on two wheels, Brook Miller will fly the Broken Trident aboard the Evolite/Kari Brook Live/Suzuki GSX-R600.
