Father gunned down

HOURS AFTER BEING INVOLVED in an altercation during a pleasure cruise, 29-year-old Gregg Trotman was gunned down in Silver Hill Drive, Silver Hill, Christ Church, yesterday afternoon.

Trotman, formerly of Briar Hall, Christ Church, and the father of a nine-month-old baby girl, died on the spot after being shot in the face while riding a motorcycle around 1:45 p.m. to become the island’s tenth murder victim for the year. gregg-trotman

Eyewitnesses told the DAILY NATION Trotman was carrying a pillion rider when he was shot in the face by an unknown assailant.

The pillion rider reportedly fled the scene unharmed.

After being shot, Trotman reportedly got up and ran a short distance before collapsing in the middle of the road. (RB)
