With each verdict, the expression on the face of stony-faced murderer Jamar Dewayne Bynoe’s faded, as it did when he heard six times that he was to hang for the fiery deaths of six young women in the Campus Trendz tragedy of 2010.
The 24-year-old line cook of Headley’s Land, Bank Hall, St Michael kept his head drooped as Justice Michelle Weekes in the No. 2 Supreme Court ordered that he be hanged for one of the most heinous crimes in recent times.
On Friday, September 3, 2010, Bynoe and accomplice Renaldo Anderson Alleyne, 21, of Prescod Bottom, Hindsbury Road, St Michael, committed a robbery at the Tudor Street clothing store, during which they tossed a deadly Molotov cocktail behind the counter and set the place ablaze.
