Mount Gay backing Pic-O-De-Crop

THE NATIONAL CULTURAL Foundation (NCF) has announced the return of Mount Gay Rum as a sponsor of the Pic-O-De-Crop Competition.

The announcement was made by chief executive officer of the NCF, Cranston Browne at a press briefing this morning at the NCF’s West Terrace, St James headquarters.

Browne described Mount Gay’s return as significant and said their involvement would appeal to young people who were now expressing interest in the traditional calypso art form.

Brand manager of Mount Gay, Terry Vaughn said his company was proud to be back on board as one of the major title sponsors for this year Pic-O-De-Crop finals “as we continue our quest for excellence in the arts”. (NM)
