DON’T PANIC – ACT!

Even with the knowledge that Barbados has a high level of risk factors for sudden deaths, that is the advice from family physician Dr Colin Alert in the wake of a recent spate of sudden deaths.

The most recent was that of 56-year-old Sylvester Trotman, who collapsed and died a few yards away from his Belle Gully, St Michael home on Thursday evening.

His was the second such death for this week. On Sunday 17-year-old Azariah Lewis collapsed on the job at the Esso service station in Black Rock, St Michael, and died shortly afterwards. (YB)
