Burst main forces road closure

A burst water main in the area of Halls Road, St Michael has rendered the road impassable from either direction.

The main has reportedly caused part of the carriageway to collapse.

Police are on the scene and have diverted vehicular traffic. Personnel from Barbados Water Authority and Ministry of Transport, Works & Maintenance have been alerted.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution in the area and to anticipate a backup of traffic. (PR)
