Two remanded on drug charges

THE TWO MEN charged in connection with Friday’s seizure of more than $2 million in cannabis about ten nautical miles off Carlisle Bay have been remanded to prison.

Thirty-six-year-old Glyne Leroy Carter of Odessa McClean Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael; and Oswald Obrien Pitt, 33, of Pinders Gap, Howell Cross Road, St Michael appeared in Criminal Court No.2 today charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

They will return to court on May 13. (TKS)
