CHAPMAN LANE in The City is the subject of a waste pilot project.

Jose y Jose and Project Recycle Ltd are collecting all the garbage from residents and showing them how to separate their waste during the six-month pilot, said Anderson Cherry, managing director of the two companies.

The project started in December and Cherry said he expected that residents would be model citizens when it came to handling household waste by the end of May.

“It is costing me a ton of money but we are going to change habits and change behaviours,” he said. “We are going to change how waste is being collected.”
